Some 14 boats entered including other city clubs. 4 Baltic, 2 IRC 2 Cruiser.
We led both races by a long long way with Cougar of Cowes but first got cancelled lack of wind. Poor Peter Morton’s classic Swan couldn’t come into its element in light airs.
Baltic took first, Lloyds just scraped in a 2nd and 3rd before all others were timed out.
BESA had invited WetWheels to circulate then at the dinner the Baltic Charity presented a cheque and exhorted other attendees/Lloyds to sup
port.
