Calling all Sailors, the Curious, the Club-Deck Socialites…

This event is open to all Baltic members and shipping companies based overseas. Joint ventures between companies are encouraged and welcomed. Those who prefer can come join only the social parts of the program! Come and enjoy a weekend of sailing & socialising.

Individual BESA (Baltic Sailing) members may join the sailing for free on a first-booked-first served basis. Companies wishing to enter crews of 3 or 4, with the Co Name on the results sheet, may book and pay for a boat.

The Saturday night dinner is ticketed separately.

There are no stipulations on who may helm each boat and after every race there will be a chance to rotate crews. So teams/squads can be as large as you like, giving everyone a chance to have a go on the water. There will also be opportunities for those not racing to witness the action close up and take photos from one of the Yacht Club’s fast tenders or just to go for a spin.

The tentative schedule is as follows:

Friday PM: Arrive Seaview. Folks tend to converge for food and a pint at The Old Fort, but this is not a BESA endorsement!

Saturday: Racing Seaview Mermaids

Saturday Evening: Three course dinner at the Sea View Yacht Club with late bar/tombola/prize giving

Sunday AM: AM Racing Seaview Mermaids then Lunch and Prize Giving:  away by 1400

This event counts towards the David Bradley Memorial Trophy.

Please fill entrance form and pay in the case of Company boats, and/or BESA Membership, and for the relevant number of Dinners.

Entrance forms, fees for the Company-sponsored boats, the three course dinner and also Baltic Exchange Sailing Association membership must be submitted by the end of April 2022 (see separate entry on this site for BESA Membership).
